"There is no doubt that alternative financing with private capital is starting to take root".

The real estate sector, which has been the quintessential industry for channelling savings, has seen in recent years how new paths have opened up in line with the new financing paradigms.

Today, in Spain, it is estimated that of the 10,000 million euros a year earmarked for real estate financing, 15% is financed with alternative investment in housing; this, discounting financing for other sectors in the field of urban development, such as commercial, industrial, logistics, hotel or other hybrid formulas that have yet to come to fruition. Currently, in some of the countries around us, this figure is around 50% or 70% of investment.

The fact is that the current situation of traditional banking invites companies to look for new formulas to break the deadlock and enter a path of flexibility, agility and, at the same time, efficiency. All this in a tremendously dynamic market in which there are opportunities that do not last, as entrepreneurs are well aware.

"Speed is key. The study of a need and a proposal for financing, for an increasing number of entrepreneurs, is meaningless if it is slowed down and mortified, if it enters a dead end".says DEXTER's CEO Yeidy Ramirez, who adds that "In Spain, we are gradually putting an end to the mentality that almost inevitably led to seeking resources from traditional banks or the old savings banks. Without a doubt, alternative financing with private capital is beginning to take root, and there are the projects that we are able to make possible every day throughout Spain".he concludes.
