DEXTER, 'main sponsor' of the Davis Cup 2025 in Puente Romano (Marbella)
In its commitment to promoting high-level competitions and to making the Costa del Sol visible throughout the world, DEXTER will act as main sponsor at the Puente Romano Tennis Club in Marbella, which will host the Davis Cup for the fourth time, pitting Spain against Denmark, the fifth time this tournament has visited the city.
The Davis Cup, with its new format, returns three years later to Marbella, as it did then with one of the qualifying rounds prior to the final phase, on 13 and 14 September, and the winner will enter the Final 8 in Bologna (Italy).
The vice-president of DEXTERAlfonso Merlos pointed out that "Marbella brings good luck to our players, who have never lost in our city; there are the recent victories in 18 against the United Kingdom and this 2022 against Romania, already with the presence of DEXTER (...) as a company that represents more than forty international investment funds and debt funds, with origins in North America and Europe, we are aware that the eyes will be on that weekend in an extremely attractive scenario"..
One of the most exciting attractions this year will be the return of Carlos Alcaraz, who made his debut for Spain in the Davis Cup, precisely in Marbella in 2022.
