From January to May, more than 3,000 homes were approved in the Andalusian province, which represents an increase of 22.6% compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda. This increase comes in contrast to the slowdown in the number of approvals experienced by the Spanish market as a whole.<\/p><p>If this pace of new supply is maintained, the province could close the year with a record of over 7,400 new units, which would mean surpassing the records of 2021, which closed with 7,300 approvals.<\/p><p>Malaga's good momentum has not gone unnoticed by large companies, which have announced major investments in the province for the coming years. The proptech <em>Casavo<\/em>specialising in online home buying and selling, announced an investment plan of more than 10 million euros to acquire homes in the capital. Recently, <em>Lagoom Living<\/em>, <em>joint venture<\/em> consisting of <em>Otero Group<\/em> e <em>Iberian Yield Investment AB<\/em>reported the development of 1,000 dwellings. <em>build-to-rent<\/em> in the next two years, with a forecast to have developed 400 of these units by the end of 2022.<\/p><p>The CEO of <em>DEXTER<\/em>Yeidy Ramirez, underlines that <em>\"Five years ago we noticed the great momentum of Malaga, the capital and the entire Costa del Sol, the beach areas and golf.
