"2025 will be the year of major transformations at DEXTER".
- What are the main challenges for DEXTER in 2025?
- One and fundamental. Intensify the growth curve. This means not only increasing the number of entrepreneurs to whom we provide financial support, but also the ticket value of each operation. And, beyond the quantitative and purely material aspect, the qualitative aspect. This involves expanding our partnerships with the largest players in the economic, financial and consultancy sectors. We are working on major projects that will soon see the light of day, with a clearly international impact. It is going to be an exciting year, with a heavy workload.
- What is the status of alternative finance as a sector?
- At an unbeatable and predictable moment. Firstly, because it has never reached such high market levels, it has never been a solution so close to hand and so well known by the entrepreneur in our country. Secondly, we are in a scenario that we sensed we would reach: the drastic reduction in traditional financing channels for entrepreneurs comes together with the fact that companies, whatever their size, are increasingly comfortable finding the advantages of partnering with investment funds and debt funds in their projects. This is set to be another record year for the sector in Spain.
- What have been the keys to the company's consolidation?
- I think that above all, working with very clear principles and clear objectives. We have also forged a great team of professionals and people, attracting the best talent in the market. From there, we have made very strong commitments to our own branding, which has made us a benchmark for alternative financing in Spain and abroad. And, in all of this, there has always been a strong focus on perfectionism, on improving all practices in all areas of the company. We are passionate about what we do and the service we provide.
- Off-bank financing is probably at its best and is the Costa del Sol the best place?
- Although we are a company with global ramifications, and manage funds from several continents, it is a fact that after more than five years we have decided to keep our headquarters in Marbella. Without a doubt, the whole of the Costa del Sol has become a formidable pole of attraction, for entrepreneurs from all sectors, for the world of luxury, for bringing in the most iconic real estate projects... it is a terrain that is absolutely fertilised, that is very fertile, and that allows us ourselves a pivotal position towards the rest of the geographical areas.
- Will DEXTER's growth also have lines of action outside Spain?
- For at least the last two years we have been arguing that if we have not opened up the flow of financing outside Spain it has been because of the highly intensive demand we have here, because of the high and sustained workload throughout the year, and because this had to be made compatible with a rapid but natural organic growth of the firm, without causing bottlenecks that only generate setbacks in the provision of services. Today, we have found the point where the leap, first of all to Latin America and the Caribbean, is a matter of months. We are already forging a structure and drawing up a plan to go in strong, with full solvency, financing projects also on the other side of the Atlantic.
