Forecasts on the increase of real estate investment in Spain

There is no doubt that Spain has been, traditionally and for multiple and permanent reasons, a country of very significant attraction for those who move in the economic field of real estate investment.

Powerful players confirm that the trend will continue without major alterations. This is the case of the investment fund Blackrock, which believes that a "strong" increase in investment in the real estate sector lies ahead, hand in hand with a probable stabilisation of interest rates.

There is optimism in the evolution of the sector. This is a fact. As is the fact that, in terms of the assets that most polarise investment, residential almost takes the lead, given the need to build more homes, especially in the cities, with the metropolitan areas of greatest volume, with Barcelona and Madrid at the forefront.

DEXTER's CEO, Yeidy Ramírez, is clear about this: "Investors are constantly detecting needs, and that is where they focus and attack. The commitment to Spain is clear and, in the case of our company, we manage and represent funds that are increasingly focused on alternative financing operations with private capital for growing companies, but which are also very interested, on a more corporate level, in corporate restructuring operations".

By 2024, a sustained growth of extra-bank financing is expected, precisely in a context in which traditional banks - it is no secret - are showing more rigidity in lending.
