Sin ir más lejos, acontecimientos como la última edición de la Solheim Cup, en 2023, llevó a un impacto global de entre 400 y 500 millones de euros, una audiencia televisiva mundial de 460 millones de espectadores y 13.000 habitaciones reservadas en 75 hoteles, con epicentro en el campo de Finca Cortesín de Casares (Málaga).
